Carina Advisory was founded to provide independent macroeconomic, geopolitical, and strategic financial intelligence to UHNW individuals, families, family offices, and corporations.

Our advisory and consulting services focus on delivering forward-looking scenarios, decision frameworks, and strategic context for an increasingly complex global environment. We work closely with a limited number of clients to provide highly personalized, bespoke long-term counsel.

The Experience

Carina Advisory was founded on more than three decades of institutional experience across global markets as a trader, investor, macro strategist and asset allocator.

A career shaped by multiple market cycles and crisis, currency dislocations, and geopolitical ruptures — not observed from a distance but managed firsthand. That experience developed the pattern recognition and analytical judgment required to identify regime shifts before traditional models fully capture them.

Fluent in English and Spanish, with longstanding relationships throughout the world and across global institutional markets. A practitioner grounded in both analytical rigor and real-world experience, with the discipline to build frameworks and the judgment to adapt them when conditions change.

The Approach

Carina Advisory provides bespoke advisory services to a limited number of clients. The analysis, intelligence, and strategic frameworks we develop are tailored to each client's specific objectives, constraints, and decision-making environment.

We do not produce generic market commentary intended for broad distribution. Our work focuses on developing forward-looking scenarios and analytical frameworks designed to support complex strategic decisions.

No institutional agenda.

No bank. No asset manager. No government affiliation. No product to distribute. No incentive that does not align perfectly with the intellectual honesty of the analysis that clients demand.

No consensus to protect.

Consensus is the enemy of useful intelligence and by default it is wrong at major inflection points. A pragmatic and independent world view is required to correctly interpret changing conditions.
